I'm used to develop with Eclipse, pydev (it gets me all i need like colored python source, error highlighting) and a lot of useful plugins (svn through Subclipse, js through Aptana, ...).
What do you use for Grok development right now?
When now developing Grok apps on a remote server i use the Remote System Explorer (RSE) plugin by IBM. Once installed it helps you creating ssh/sftp based connections to remote Linux/Unix Servers, exploring the remote file system, editing and saving remote files, open shells and execute commands and search for files on the remote system.
